EDUCATIONAL TRIP TO OOTY – 13th -17th September

13 Sept 2025

The educational trip to Ooty was designed as an immersive learning experience connecting classroom concepts to the real world. Students explored themes of geography, environmental science, and cultural studies through firsthand observation and inquiry. At the Tea and Chocolate Factories, they learned about production processes, trade, and sustainability, linking economic concepts to everyday life. The Tribal Museum deepened their understanding of social diversity and encouraged respect for indigenous cultures, while visits to Doddabetta Hill Station, Pykara Falls, and the Pine Forest promoted environmental awareness and reflection on conservation.

Group activities such as the campfire and team tasks fostered collaboration, empathy, and shared responsibility. Throughout the journey, students demonstrated curiosity, discipline, and engagement—observing, questioning, and connecting their experiences to academic learning. The trip became more than just recreation; it served as a celebration of responsible exploration and active engagement, key hallmarks of the Cambridge learner profile.
