The investiture ceremony of our school was conducted with great pride and enthusiasm on June 25 in our school’s theatre hall. The event began with our comperes Jude Mohan and Venba’s professional lead-in, followed by our school song and Tamil Thai Vazhthu. The event was officially started with the lighting of the lamp by our respected principal, Mr. Nagarajan, and our chief guest and soon-to-be correspondent, Mr. Sivakumar Ingersoll. After this, Lohith gave the gathering an introduction of our school’s Student Leadership Program (SLP) and explained the immense importance of the Investiture Ceremony. Succeeding an introduction to our correspondent, the leaders were conferred their badges with Kanishka Reddy as our Student Leader, Adhithiya Nivasan as our Deputy Student Leader, and Mohammed Shafaz as our Sports Captain; class leaders from each grade also received their respective badges. The ceremony went on with the oath-taking ceremony where our principal, Mr Nagarajan, recited the oath of acceptance and responsibility for the newly invested leaders. Then, our correspondent, Mr. Sivakumar Ingersoll, came on stage to deliver powerful statements on leadership. He highlighted the importance of leading by example and integrity. Our newly invested Student Leader, Kanishka Reddy, presented the vote of thanks as a gesture of gratitude to all who have contributed to making this event possible. Finally, we ended the event by singing the national song–the Vande Mataram–and the national anthem. With our new leaders enthusiastic about the positive differences they will be making in the near-future, we keenly look forward to this academic year with hope.

The Language Club provided students across Grades 6–9 with exciting opportunities to strengthen their communication, public speaking, and confidence through engaging activities. Grade 6 students showcased their persuasive speaking skills in the creative "Plane Crash" role-play, Grade 7 students demonstrated quick thinking through Just A Minute (JAM), Grade 8 students captivated the audience with expressive monologues, and Grade 9 students delivered inspiring TED Talk-style presentations on meaningful topics. The sessions were filled with creativity, enthusiasm, and confident performances, encouraging students to step beyond their comfort zones while developing essential communication skills in a fun and engaging environment.

The School Council Elections were conducted with great enthusiasm and a strong spirit of democracy. The election process began with students filing their nominations for various leadership positions, followed by campaigning where candidates confidently shared their ideas, goals, and vision for the school. Their speeches encouraged students to think carefully and vote responsibly. On Election Day, students cast their votes in a fair, disciplined, and well-organized manner, making the experience both exciting and meaningful. The elections gave every student an opportunity to participate in the democratic process while learning the values of leadership, responsibility, teamwork, integrity, and accountability. More than just choosing student leaders, the event served as a valuable learning experience that inspired students to become active contributors to the school community and strengthened the spirit of unity and participation among all.

Springdays International School opened its gates to our students on the fourth of June. Our school has gotten the most diverse it has ever been, and the corridors are alive with pupils again. The energy our students have been showing over the past days is awe-inspiring (and very exciting) for teachers and peers alike. The curricular momentum has been moving progressively, and the school is already buzzing with the recent school council elections, club activities, and our academic celebrations. This year, much like last year, is dotted with celebrations, contests, clubs, and annual events peculiar to Springdays’ pride and culture, and we cannot help but anticipate another blissful, blossomed year! SIS also proudly welcomes our newest students as they embark on a new, thrilling chapter packed with tons of hustle, experiences, and educational richness, and we are grateful to have you be a part of our wondrous Springdays family!

From 28 May to 2 June 2026, a delegation of 38 students and 4 faculty members from Springdays International School, Springdays CBSE School, and Springdays Garden School embarked on an Educational Field Experience (EFE) to Malaysia to participate in the NGTM Conclave 2026.
The students had the opportunity to visit Sunway University, where they participated in the conclave and showcased their talents on an international platform. Beyond the conference, the itinerary included educational visits to some of Malaysia’s most iconic landmarks, including Batu Caves, Petronas Twin Towers, KL Tower, Thean Hou Temple, the National Monument, Merdeka Square, Chinatown, Petaling Street, and Putrajaya.
These visits offered valuable insights into Malaysia’s rich cultural heritage, modern infrastructure, governance, and multicultural society. Students also gained practical exposure to commerce and financial literacy through interactions with local markets and businesses.
The trip provided opportunities for students to develop confidence, teamwork, adaptability, and cross-cultural awareness while experiencing learning beyond the classroom. It was a memorable international experience that broadened their perspectives and reinforced the importance of global learning and cultural appreciation.

The space trekking experience was both exciting and informative. We first entered an igloo-like structure where we lay down and watched a presentation about space, starting from the smallest particles like atoms to the vast concept of the multiverse. We also learned about the Artemis II mission, making it a fascinating experience. In the “Y Cosmos” session, an astrophysicist helped spark our curiosity about space. We discussed what we think aliens are and whether they exist. We also learned that a day is not exactly 24 hours, but actually 23 hours, 56 minutes, and 4 seconds.

Our visit to the Aavin Milk Processing Unit, Vellore, was highly informative and engaging. As students, we actively asked insightful questions and learned that the unit exports nearly 1 lakh milk packets per day, reflecting its vast production capacity and organized distribution system. We understood the process of pasteurization (heat treatment used to eliminate harmful microorganisms), where milk is heated to 79–80°C and then rapidly cooled to 3°C to maintain safety and freshness. We also learned that around 10,000 litres of milk can be pasteurized per hour in a processing line. The method of preparing ghee was explained clearly by heating and melting butter to separate pure fat from milk solids. Furthermore, we observed the production of two major varieties of milk: skimmed milk (milk with minimal fat content) and toned milk (milk with standardized fat levels).
In conclusion, the visit enhanced our practical understanding of dairy technology and quality control systems. It gave us real-world exposure to industrial processing methods.

The wall art created by students of Grades 6 to 9 was truly remarkable and visually captivating. They transformed dull walls into meaningful and vibrant masterpieces filled with creativity. This incredible work required immense hard work, dedication, and teamwork. The walls were adorned with a variety of colors, patterns, and inspiring messages, giving the surroundings a magical and lively feel. Each artwork reflected the students’ imagination and artistic skills. Their continuous effort and passion deserve great appreciation. We sincerely thank our art teacher, Ms. Suganya, for her continuous support and encouragement to students. Overall, this initiative beautified the school environment and created a more positive, inspiring, and aesthetically pleasing atmosphere.

The school hosted a formal farewell for Grade 10 students Sanjivini, Sushant, Aashini, and Rithika, featuring tribute videos and interactive games organized by the 9th grade. Following an inspiring address regarding the upcoming board exams, the Principal presented each student with a commemorative gift. We wish our seniors great success in their future academic pursuits.

The Young Pioneers Camp at Springdays International School was a delightful and enriching experience. We began by settling into our rooms, followed by engaging in games conducted by Mr. Mohan. We then enjoyed a thrilling movie, Zootopia 2, which kept us entertained. Observing the night sky through a telescope was truly fascinating, enhancing our curiosity about space. The campfire session was heartwarming, filled with music and shared memories. The next day began with refreshing exercises and trekking. We also enjoyed outdoor sports like football and throwball. The sustainable art activity using newspapers was creative and inspiring. The camp concluded beautifully, leaving us with unforgettable memories. We all thank the in-charge teachers for your continuous support and encouragement.

The students of our school are enthusiastously preparing for the upcoming NGTM Conclave, which is expected to be held in late May to early June. Students will participate in a variety of events including model making, skits, presentations, and competitions. As part of the preparations, an orientation session was conducted on 2 April 2026 by the expert team from Negizhi Māsilla Tamil Nadu. The team addressed the students, introduced the various events, and guided them on how to prepare confidently and effectively for the conclave.

Students of grades 8 and 9 conducted a special assembly to celebrate International Women’s Day, highlighting the achievements and contributions of women in society. Students presented speeches, poems, and short performances that conveyed powerful messages on equality and empowerment. The assembly left a lasting impression on the audience with its meaningful message. The programme was well-organised, thought-provoking, encouraging, and thoughtfully presented by the students.

The Language and Lifestyle Club organised a range of activities for different grades. Grade 6 participated in a Spelling Bee and Story Writing, while Grade 7 engaged in a Spelling Bee and Poem Writing. Grades 8 and 9 took part in Prepared Speech and Article Writing. Though many students were nervous and initially struggled, they gradually managed to cope and performed confidently, making the event a meaningful learning experience.

On 26th February 2026, students from Grades 6 to 9 enthusiastically participated in the Diet and Wellness Club activity, which aimed to promote healthy eating habits and awareness about balanced nutrition. Students prepared a wide range of nutritious and wholesome dishes, including refreshing drinks, pastries, rolls, sandwiches, and healthy snacks– displaying creativity and effort. The dishes were tasted and appreciated by the Chief Guest, Mr Saravanan, CEO of MasterJEE, and Mr Nagarajan, the Principal, whose encouraging feedback motivated the students. Participants also shared their dishes with teachers, creating a joyful and lively atmosphere. The activity was enjoyable, educational, and a truly enriching experience for all.

The Creative Hive Club recently organized an exciting scavenger hunt for students in our school. In this activity, participants were given clue papers that guided them to search for specific objects and locations around the campus. Each clue required careful thinking, sharp observation, and teamwork to solve correctly. The event not only encouraged students to explore their surroundings but also helped develop problem-solving skills and cooperation. The atmosphere was filled with excitement and determination as teams worked together to complete the challenge successfully and confidently. Overall, the scavenger hunt was a successful and memorable experience for everyone involved.

On 10.02.2026, I participated in the Spell Bee Level 3 Exam (National level). It was an amazing opportunity, but it felt like carrying a huge load on your head. However, writing the exam was interesting. The exam tested my English in topics like phonetics, choosing the right meaning, and reading comprehension. Overall, it was instrumental to test myself, and I hope I will compete at the International Level as well.

Jamboree 2026 was nothing short of a stellar experience for me. It was my first time being part of Jamboree, and frankly I enjoyed being part of Team Endura. I was one of the Rivers, and Team River was a curious, bubbly, and close-knit team. In fact, we were all a close-knit team. The narration was spot-on. The elements, including the wastes, nailed it on stage, with vigor and grace. Of course, we cannot forget the students who displayed their raw, natural theater skills that set the stage alive and relatable. Endura shared a simple yet beautiful message, in a simple yet colorful way. A very big shoutout to every teacher and student-volunteer involved in the play, the drafting of the script, the practice sessions, the preparation of the props and costumes, and the make-up!The stellar reason Endura was a magical play is because of the props. Our school’s teachers and students began working on this from Day One. The props are meticulously impressive and extremely realistic, which is a fantastic reflection of SIS’s creativity.

The rocks that were adorned for the SOILS were made from waste paper balls, painted in earthy shades. The EARTH’s haloes were reused cardboard. The RIVER’s aquatic life was glittered by hand. The trash used by the STUDENTS, as well as the stunning outfits of our three WASTES were the result of timely contribution by our students and the artistry of our staff.
Not to mention that the students and staff worked tirelessly for the life-like globe, the mountain and the rocks. No words can express the gratitude to every staff and student volunteer who helped to design, fix, and paint these props. We, nevertheless, had fun in creating these!

We went to VIT University to attend the VIT Mathematical Meet (VITMM). It was a great learning experience for all of us. Our school participated in different events, and we were divided into several groups. We had two groups for the poster presentation, one group for the math quiz, one group for the model presentation, and one group for the talent exam. When we entered the university, we first registered our school at the registration desk and then went to our respective venues to attend the competitions. There were many schools from different places participating in the meet, which made the event very exciting and competitive. Our poster and model teams explained their topics clearly to the judges and answered their questions confidently. The students who participated in the math quiz and talent exam also performed well and tried their best. We also got a chance to explore many creative posters and innovative models made by other schools, and we took them as inspiration to improve and perform better in the future. Overall, this visit helped us improve our teamwork, collaboration, and communication skills. It also boosted our confidence and motivated us to participate in more such events in the future.

The Pongal celebration in our school was joyful and meaningful. We began the program with the Tamil Thai Vazhthu, which created a respectful and traditional atmosphere. This was followed by a beautiful welcome dance performed by the Grade 7 and 8 girls. Next, the Grade 7 and 8 girls sang a traditional song that added cultural value to the celebration. After that, the Grade 7, 8, and 9 boys presented a lively Villupattu, which entertained everyone and conveyed traditional messages. The program continued with traditional dances like Karagattam and Kummi performed by the Grade 7 and 8 girls, which brought great energy and happiness to the audience. A meaningful skit based on the values of “Matha, Pitha, Guru, Dhaivam” was then performed, teaching us the importance of respecting parents, teachers, and elders. The celebration came to an end with a vote of thanks given by a Grade 10 student and an inspiring speech by our respected principal. We were also served sweet Pongal, which we enjoyed a lot. Through this celebration, we learned about the importance of Pongal, why it is celebrated, and its cultural significance. We also improved our teamwork, collaboration, communication, and public speaking skills. Our confidence and courage increased as well. We sincerely thank all the in-charge teachers and students for making this Pongal celebration memorable.

Springdays International School hosted a two-day Open House on Saturday, 29th November 2025, and Sunday, 30th November 2025, for new parents visiting for admission. The school was organised into four zones. Zone 1 highlighted how learning meets creativity through art and interactive activities. Zone 2 showcased daily worksheets and demonstrated how students apply their learning in real-life situations. Zone 3 was designed like space, highlighting that every child is a star and that each student is unique and special. Zone 4 presented the Cambridge Pathways along with a display of textual resources. Students supported the event with charts, models, and by guiding parents as ambassadors.
